Methodology
Data is sourced from Traffic9 Media's active client cohort and a monitored panel of 412 commercial queries tracked across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews, and Bing Copilot between January and May 2026.
Citation tracking is performed weekly using a combination of manual sampling, AI engine API responses where available, and third-party monitoring tools. Year-over-year comparisons use the same monitored query set tracked since Q1 2025.
These figures are observational, not from a controlled experiment. They reflect Traffic9 Media's specific client mix (US-based small and mid-sized B2B services, home services, and insurance) and may not generalize to all verticals.
